Australia, are you looking for some easy whisky cocktails to make at home? Whether you’re in lockdown or just looking for a reason to shake up your weekend plans, Starward Whisky has kindly shared with us some quarantine cocktail recipes to try.

So, switch off Netflix for a minute or two and, instead, put your cocktail-making skills to the test. Even though bartenders do it best, these three, make at home cocktail recipes are definitely foolproof.

Striking the perfect balance between taste and comfort in a matter of minutes, why not try something new with one of these three easy Starward Whisky cocktail recipes to try this weekend.

<strong>Coco-Nuts</strong>

Coco-Nuts

Coco-Nuts is the perfect comfort drink to get you through the impending cold days of winter isolation. This sweet sticky beverage is packed full of flavour – exactly what you need when isolation drives you a little nuts!

Ingredients:
50mL Starward Two-Fold Whisky
45mL Homemade Salted Caramel Syrup (see recipe below)
45mL cold-drip coffee (or any coffee)
25mL coconut cream
25mL coconut milk

Method:
1. Using a shaker, shake the coconut cream and milk with ice and set aside.
2. Shake remaining ingredients and pour over the prepared coconut cream and milk.
3. Strain into a highball (or tall glass) and top with ice.

Find yourself yearning for Friday drinks? This cocktail will have you feeling like you’re at a rooftop bar as the sun sets over the water – from the comfort of your home. A quick and easy cocktail for first timers. Sometimes less really is more.

Ingredients:
30mL Starward Two-Fold Whisky
Sparkling apple juice
Mint
Lemon

Method:
1. Add the whisky to an old fashioned glass.
2. Top with sparkling apple juice and ice.
3. Garnish with mint and lemon.


<strong>Espresso Quarantini</strong>

Espresso Quarantini

The isolation-twist on this Aussie favourite will have you feeling cosy and ready to wait quarantine out. A cocktail so good you might not even want to leave when restrictions are lifted!

Ingredients:
45mL Starward Two-Fold Whisky
45mL Homemade Salted Caramel Syrup (see recipe below)
30mL cold-drip coffee (or any coffee)
Dark chocolate to garnish

Method:
1. Add all ingredients into a mixer, shake vigorously.
2. Double strain into a coupe glass.
3. Lightly grate some dark chocolate on top.


Homemade Salted Caramel Syrup Recipe:

1. Mix equal parts amaro and salted caramel syrup.
2. When thick and combined, set aside.
