A three-hour happy hour PLUS themed parties, DJs and cool cocktails…all whilst COVID-safe, thanks to The Argyle, Sydney.

Never did we think that after the year we’ve had, we would see a series of parties, inflatable swimming pool paraphernalia and DJs. We just didn’t see it happening.

But, alas, the Rockpool Dining Group team behind The Argyle in The Rocks is a lot more imaginative (and clearly motivated) to ensure Sydneysiders can once again enjoy their summer surrounded by disco balls, fabulous music, and other people… albeit one-and-a-half-metres away.

On Friday nights throughout November, The Argyle will be launching its Summer of Love series which will see the Sydney hotspot transform into a summery oasis in the heart of the city – complete with tropical flowers and vines cascading from the ceiling and intertwined with lights, disco balls and inflatable swimming pool toys. This will all then be topped off with a pop-up beach bar serving a fabulous range of new, fun and refreshing cocktails.

Pick from four incredible (and brain-freeze inducing) frozen cocktails like The Amazonia, Mango Castaway, Piña Colada, or our favourite, the adults twist on the classic childhood favourite, Super Dooper. Or, if you’re a shaken kind-off tippler, explore the brand new Caprioska Range.

But the best part is the happy hour. It’s been extended. Yes, we’re talking a three-hour happy hour every Wednesday through to Saturday from 4pm to 7pm. So those delectable frozen cocktails we mentioned will be just $7.50 and the shaken variety – just $10 each.

With two floors, six bars and safe socialising measures in place there is a themed summer soiree on the calendar every Friday night. Entry is free, but bookings are recommended. Dress in theme for ultimate selfie satisfaction.
