EAT

Lucky Suzie

Lucky Suzie produces stunning traditional Malaysian food with a modern twist – the Malaysian curry with cruciferous vegetables is a great place if you’re a newcomer to Malaysian cuisine. From there, Lucky Suzie’s menu is sure to surprise and tempt you all the way through to dessert.

Dumplings & Beer Darlinghurst

Dumplings & Beer in Darlinghurst (Image: Supplied)

This simple little eatery has some of the tastiest dumplings – we recommend their duck wraps and prawn gow gee which arrive quickly and are best matched with a Lord Nelson’s Ale or Sapporo. This place fills up early, so be sure to arrive early to guarantee a table, however ordering is made efficient with their ordering slip system.

DRINK

The Long Goodbye

This film-noir inspired cocktail bar has no menu, giving you the ability to create the cocktail of your dreams, or perhaps settle for your usual poison. We recommend ordering anything that includes spiced rum, as they make their own concoction which is generously spicy and paired perfectly with ginger ale or beer and a generous serving of fresh lime.
