Hailed as being one of the most royal fruits of them all, we’re happy to announce that the season of the famed Queen Garnet Plum has returned. And, is there a better way to celebrate than enjoying the mighty Queen Garnet Plum in this Sweet Plum Swirl Ice-Cream Block recipe?

Thanks to perfect growing conditions, for Australians this year the Queen Garnet Plum is better than ever with their juicy and overall fantastic quality; available in stores until the end of the month.

What are plums good for?

Naturally containing more antioxidants than other plum varieties, the Queen Garnet Plum has proved to decrease inflammation, blood pressure and fat levels in hypersensitive and overweight humans. Better yet, the Queen Garnet Plums also helps reduce the symptoms of inflammatory bowel disease.

So, to help you enjoy all that the Queen Garnet Plum season has to offer as well as the warm weather whilst it lasts, grab some popsicle moulds and get stuck in to making this easy homemade Sweet Plum Swirl Ice-Cream Block recipe!
