3 Easy Peroni Beer Cocktail Recipes to try this weekend

When you think of Peroni, what do you think of? The iconic green bottles, a cold one on a hot day, maybe if you’re lucky, a summer’s evening on the Italian Riviera. But, you probably don’t think about sipping a cocktail.
In fact, seeing beer as an ingredient on a cocktail menu might seem bizarre to some.
But that’s exactly what the home of Italy’s most famous lager is suggesting you do. Forget everything you know about beer and try these three bright and breezy cocktails. With a base of their iconic Nastro Azzurro, these tipples offer everything from a tangy orange to a refreshing fizz.
Push the boat out over isolation and try one of these beer cocktail recipes. Just like people, these are all best served chilled.

Peroni Spritz
Ingredients:
100mL Peroni Nastro Azzurro
30mL Prosecco
30mL Aperol
50mL Pomegranate juice
Passionfruit to garnish
Method:
1. Add the Prosecco, Aperol and Pomegranate juice to a glass.
2. Top up with the chilled Nastro Azzurro.
3. Fill the top with ice, garnish with passionfruit and enjoy!

Peroni Negroni
Ingredients:
20mL orange-infused gin
20mL Campari
20mL Red Vermouth
20mL mandarin juice
Peroni Nastro Azzurro to top
Orange bitters
Method:
1. Add the prosecco, Aperol and pomegranate juice to a glass.
2. Top up with the chilled Nastro Azzurro.
3. Fill to the top with ice and enjoy

Peroni Al Fresco
Ingredients:
120mL Peroni Nastro Azzurro
20mL Elderflower cordial
A dash of lemon juice
A dash of soda water
2 inches of cucumber
8 Basil leaves
Black pepper
Method:
1. Muddle the basil leaves and cucumber together.
2. Add the elderflower cordial and a dash of lemon juice and soda water. Shake vigorously.
3. Add the Peroni Nastro Azzurro. Stir and double strain. Cheers!
