From Australia’s outback to the skirts of the city – Archie Rose takes the flavours of the bush and infuses it into four new Aussie-inspired bottled cocktails.

Australia, get ready to experience Archie Rose’s take on the outback, one bottled cocktail at a time. From cocktailed cans to a limited-edition shiraz spirit that used 2019 Australian bushfire smoke-tainted grapes, when it comes to paying homage to our beautiful nation, no one really does it better than New South Wales’ famed Archie Rose Distilling Co.

Meet Eucalypt Mule, Red Centre NegroniRosella Sour and Wattleseed & Peach Iced Tea.

The four new ready-to-pour bottled cocktails celebrate Australia’s most cherished, charismatic and enchanting native ingredients by infusing it with a modernised twist on some of our favourite classic cocktails. We’re talking mules to sours, negronis and even a peach iced tea.

Designed so that it’s mixed, measured and ready to pour straight from the fridge, Archie Rose created the four new bottled cocktails so Aussie tipple lovers are able to experience that much-loved bar service treatment in the comfort of your own home.

Housed within the Rosebery distillery’s famed bell-like cork-topped bottle, each of the four bottled cocktails in the collection are adorned with a matching original artwork designed by Australian artist Melanie Vugich.

Of course, in true Archie Rose fashion, each of the four bottled cocktails go well beyond the bottle when it comes to its charismatic contents.

Starting with the Eucalypt Mule, this brilliant interpretation of the classic cocktail sees a blend of native river mint and Archie Rose Original Vodka infused together with a blend of peach, apricot and zingy ginger. Best served neat over ice, topped with soda, sparkling wine or CAPI Ginger Beer, the Eucalypt Mule will have your palate invigorated with the taste of bright bush apples.

For an all-Australian, heart of the outback feel, the Red Centre Negroni does no disservice to the real deal. Seeing the Archie Rose Distiller’s Strength Gin partnering up with sweet vermouth from Victoria-based maker Maidenii and Økar Island Bitter sourced from South Australia’s Applewood distillery. When matched with ice, soda, sparkling wine or Fentimans Pink Grapefruit Tonic, the Red Centre Negroni’s native riberry and strawberry gum are awakened and comes to life.

Next, onto something more chirpy and bound to get you soaring above the skies is the Rosella Sour. Blended with a mix of Archie Rose Signature Dry Gin, hibiscus, strawberry, coconut cream and a hint of pineapple; on the nose it’s an ambience of sweet strawberries and cream. But, on the palate, especially when paired with StrangeLove’s Very Mandarin Soda, drinkers can expect tart and tropical floral notes.

Finally, for something complex, the Wattleseed & Peach Iced Tea uses an infusion of Archie Rose White Rye, peach and mango meets lapsang souchong tea and finishes with a subtle smokiness to enlighten the bold and tropical flavours. With earthy notes attributed to the native wattleseed, this bottled cocktail is best served straight over ice, topped with soda or sparkling wine or finished with StrangeLove Smoked Cola.

“We’re immensely pleased with this range of bottled cocktails, perfect for summer with a top of soda or sparkling wine – they show the best of Australian flora, both inside and outside the bottle,” says Archie Rose Head of Hospitality, Harriet Leigh.

Archie Rose’s Australian-inspired Bottle Cocktails range is now available to purchase from $69.00 each via the Rosebery Archie Rose Cellar door or online through their website.
