AFL – Australian Food-Truck Life, our new favourite pastime.

Melbournians, as you prepare for the biggest weekend of your sporting lives, The Food Truck Park is making life easier by taking your feeding needs under their wing, launching a massive three-day food festival at the Valley Racecourse.

Kicking off on Friday 27th September from 1pm with the Big Chicken and Beer Festival, footy fans and horse racing enthusiasts alike will be able to enjoy chickeny goodness and craft beer, while catching the AFL Grand Final festivities on the big screen and joining in on the live-action of Ladbrokes Friday Night Lights from 5.30pm, which includes the Group 1 $1M Charter Keck Cramer Moir Stakes. But, it only gets better on Grand Final Day, with a take over by the Sweet Lane Festival, which sees a dash of big-screen entertainment, sweet indulgence, craft beer, wine, cider and live performances.

It’s all sounding quite adult at this point, however, Sundays are for family and Sunday 29th doesn’t disappoint. The Kids Food Truck Day Out will spill over the park, jam-packed with family-friendly games, rides and gourmet food trucks.

Be sure to try local favourites like Bok Bok Korean Chicken, O Tuga Tastes of Portugal, Naughty Frenchy, Manny’s Doughnuts, Smoothie Planet and The Kraken Squid.
