Flowering for only two weeks a year, the delicate sakura plant tantalises the world with its charming soft pink petals that flourish all over the soft trees.

To celebrate the arrival of spring and the beautiful cherry blossom, like the plant itself, Saké Restaurant & Bar venues across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane will be transforming throughout the month of September for its guests to enjoy everything sakura inspired.

Spring Cocktail Menu:

Available at all Saké Restaurant & Bar venues, a limited edition Spring Cocktail menu has been released for guests to enjoy underneath blossoming sakura canopies.

Each of the five cocktails are inspired by the elegant Japanese flower – whether it be topped with sakura flower syrup, Japanese whisky or simply just cherry liqueur; like the whimsical plant, each cocktail encapsulates a single characteristic of the bewitching plant.

In Bloom
Roku gin, lychee liqueur, lime juice, cherry and sakura flavoured syrup topped with lychees

Signature Cherry
Combination of grey goose vodka, sakura vermouth and cherry shrub

Japanese Cobbler
Shiso umeshu, ketel one citroen, sakura syrup, yuzu juice and topped with cherry blossom water

Blushing Blossom
Japanese whisky, herring cherry liqueur, choya uji green tea umeshu, honey water, yuzu juice, passion fruit and egg white shaken

Red Kuchibiru
Shochu kome with cherry shrub and glühwein mix

For one night only at selected Saké Restaurant & Bar venues, lovers of champagne and exceptional food will be blooming by the six-course menu designed and collaborated by each of Saké’s Head Chefs.
