Fancy a waterfront bar and restaurant with views of Perth’s city skyline?

Breaking news for all Perth foodies: located on the banks of the Swan River, Rambla on Swan has thankfully reopened to guests from Thursday 01 October 2020 – the first time since closing their doors earlier this year in March.

To take advantage of the COVID-19 lockdowns and restrictions in Western Australia, they took the opportunity to remodel the restaurant, alfresco and deck bar, now providing the ultimate spot to enjoy Perth’s esteemed waterfront views.

And, on top of that, the South Perth venue has also seen a remodel of the cocktail, beverage and food menu, all expanded with the ethos of casual dining in mind. Going hand-in-hand with their delectable new eats and drinks, Rambla on Swan’s new seating areas offer the perfect opportunity to enjoy the city skyline and Swan River, whether that is at sunset or during a sunny afternoon.

For your visit and to accompany your cocktail or drink of choice, enjoy shared plates and crowd favorites, namely pizza, Crispy Fish Tacos and milk bun steak sandwiches. For something a bit more filling, you can find spaghetti, grilled fish and steaks on the menu, all utilised with local produce such as Shark Bay scallops and Margaret River wagyu rump.

We can vouch that The Pescatarian Board, full of freshly shucked oysters, garlic prawns, salmon sashimi, crispy fish and other seafood delights is worth a try, especially when paired with wine, friends and some of the best waterfront views in Perth.

Hugh Brown, the owner of the Rambla on Swan, said he wanted to utilise the views of the Swan River, and really make it a place people wouldn’t want to leave.

Since having no choice but to close their doors in March, the quiet period allowed them to decide how the Rambla was going to re-enter the market. South Perth has expanded in the past few years, with coffee shops and bars popping up along the waterfront – it’s definitely a Perth hotspot to keep your eye on.

With summer fast approaching, Rambla on Swan is a great venue to keep in mind for any upcoming special occasions. To keep up to date with any events, such as live music and DJs on the weekends, follow their Facebook or Instagram pages for more information.
