Just 30 minutes out of Melbourne’s Docklands is the newest Thai Eatery in Doncaster – Miss Ping’s.
Filled with fluorescent signs, city-like décor, vibrant cocktails and a modern take on authentic Thai cuisine – visitors will feel like they’re spending a night in the bustle of Bangkok – in the middle of Melbourne.
Created by Winnie Chiang and launching late March of this year, Miss Ping’s is everything every Thai food lover needs. Fresh produce, authenticity, exceptional hospitality and bit of spice to top it all off.
Expecting a fruit infused cocktail with a bit of bang to it, a tangy dressing on a duck salad, or even a creamy sticky rice to end the night can all easily be found at Miss Ping’s.
Their extensive menu reflects Winnie’s personality, creativity, success and deep passion towards authentic Thai dishes that have a modern zest to it – everything a Melbourne foodie searches for.
Whether ordering the popular Som Tam that’s topped with the freshest papaya slaw, the Steamed Bao’s or the Red Duck Curry with Lychees ($17.90) that’s mouthwatering to even say; visitors will surely agree that every option available on the menu is more than substantial to any Thai food lover out there.

Overlooking the Melbourne city skyline, Miss Ping’s is definitely a stop over with a full service lunch and dinner menu available or even just a drink at the cocktail bar. The colourful restaurant is surprisingly similar to spending a night in Bangkok – without the plane ticket of course.
Winnie herself brought her cooking expertise from Singapore to Australia when opening up Thailander that successfully started a franchise that now includes Little Collins St, Chadstone and Melbourne’s Galleria. From there, Miss Ping’s was created to tackle the Thai cuisine industry, with a modern and Winnie twist.
As a commemoration and celebration towards Thailand, Miss Ping’s is a restaurant of passion, surprise, bright lights and well-crafted delicacies.
