What’s the one best thing to come from six more weeks of COVID-lockdown? Melbourne’s restaurant-quality eats at home.

As Melbourne shuts down once more, our foodie favourites come to the rescue, shifting their model (again) to takeaway. And as difficult as it is for our hospitality friends, they push through and adapt to the new norm. So to keep you well-fed from home, (and to the small and mighty businesses of Victoria) we’ve rounded up some of our favourite feasts to pick up or have delivered straight to your door.

Happy takeaway-ing.

Albert Park Hotel

You’ll be able to order all of Albert Park Hotel’s flavour-packed Happy Valley classics and enjoy them in the safety and comfort of home. The takeaway menu is comprised of old school favourites like dim sum, prawn toast, san choi bao, Peking duck pancakes, sweet and sour pork, XO pippies, and Singapore noodles, sitting alongside contemporary dishes like raw Yellowfin tuna in orange and sesame dressing, crispy Eugowra quail with Szechuan pepper salt. Takeaway booze will also be available including a fantastic selection of wine that heroes Victorian and Australian producers, and Colonial Brewing Co. beer and cider. Customers can place orders to pick up from the venue (no delivery) by calling ahead.
