The UberEats favourite, Mahalo Poké has set up shop in Swan Street, Richmond.

Mahalo Poké’s is the latest venture from the same team as neighbouring Botherambo, and it follows on from a successful takeaway launch in late 2016 through UberEATS. With a gorgeously fresh selection of Hawaiian-Japanese breakfast, lunch and dinner options, the permanent store is expected to be just as popular.

A front-runner in pinning one of the hottest summer trends of 2017, Mahalo Poké’s combination of Hawaiian-Japanese flavours with fresh and vibrant ingredients creates allows you to create customised, compact and delicious dishes. Expect their signature poke bowls including Spicy Salmon with pickled ginger, corn, edamame, ka’ukama, carrot, purple cabbage, volcano ponzu and soy tahini sauce.

Breakfast-goers will enjoy the likes of the Hula Waffle with pure maple, bacon, house ice-cream and macadamia crumble, as well as twists on classic breakfast dishes, like the Aloha Smashed Avocado with togarashi and jalapeno tomato salsa on sourdough.

Dinner options include The Big Kahuna Burger with buttermilk fried chicken, pineapple, bacon, apple cabbage and wasabi slaw on a Hawaiian sweet bun.

The delicious dishes on offer incorporate locally sourced ingredients with fiery sides including the Taro Crisps, Volcano Chips and edamame. Mahalo Poké’s menu is complemented by an array of beverages, including signature house-made smoothies like the Coco Dragon, with dragonfruit, mango chai, coconut, cashew, honey and coconut milk, cold brew coffees from Niccolo, kombucha; beer and wine.
