If there’s any restaurant in Sydney that’ll make you feel like you’ve just walked into a hidden underground speak-easy, it’s Hubert.

Good news for anyone who hasn’t managed to snag a table (and even for those who have), the boys of Hubert have finally opened the doors of Sydney’s New Restaurant of the Year for weekday lunches. The best part about it is that you can make bookings for any party size. Hopefully this will alleviate the pain of the long dinner queues with diners now able to opt for Chef Dan Pepperell’s $75 prix fixe menu for lunch.

Available until 3pm, the set menu will ensure that you’re not leaving hungry with a mix of seasonal small plates (grilled scallop beaurre noisette, radishes with butters, house terrine, and leeks with vinaigrette), baguette, salad and Rangers Valley flat-iron steak frites all on the cards. There’s also the option to add on oysters, Sterling Caviar, and cheese or dessert to finish off.

Hubert’s popularity is only on the rise and just in time for the silly season, so this makes for a good opportunity to convince your boss to book in for an end of year lunch, or to just spend a few hours loosing track of time over a good meal this Christmas season.
