Who said an indulgent chocolate bowl couldn’t be good for you?
We were on a quest to find a delicious, rich and creamy, yet guilt-free chocolate treat to keep us happy and, thankfully, we found it. But how do we know it’s good for us? We spoke to Jess Sepel, clinical nutritionist and brand ambassador for Califia Farms to get the low down, and she’s created it. So get your blender ready for this addictively delicious refined sugar-free dessert chock full of fibre, good fats, healthy carbs and protein.
1 tbsp cacao powder
1 frozen banana, chopped
½ frozen zucchini
1 Medjool date, pitted
1 cup Califia Farms Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
1 serve vegan chocolate protein powder
A handful of ice cubes
Place all of the smoothie ingredients in a high-speed blender and blitz until smooth.
Pour into a serving bowl and top with cacao nibs, raspberries and shredded coconut. Enjoy!
