Let your love for liquorice be ignited once more thanks to Darrell Lea.

As the countdown to Sydney’s 2021 Mardi Gras festivities begin, Australia’s favourite confectionary brand, Darrell Lea, proves that love comes in all shapes, sizes and even colours.

And, to help show their support and get celebrations underway, Darrell Lea is loving up their liquorice, thanks to their launch of the new, limited-edition Liquorice Allsorts pack.

The much-loved party favour and afternoon pick-me-up has undergone a colourful transformation for the first time in their 100-year history. To help show their support for inclusivity and diversity in society, Darrell Lea has changed the name and packaging of their Liquorice Allsorts to a striking Darrell Lea Loves Allsorts.

It’s the same famed flavour, just slightly more loveable.

Of course, the Darrell Lea Loves Allsorts goes well beyond the rainbow painted packaging. From every sale, a percentage of the limited-edition pack will be donated to QLife, a free and anonymous Australia-wide LGBTI phone and webchat service for people who need support on issues including sexuality, identity, gender, bodies, feelings and relationships.

Darrell Lea’s senior marketing manager, Aimee Cutajar says, “Darrell Lea is a company that is proudly made up of all sorts of people and it’s this diversity that has created the perfect recipe for our success.”

“We celebrate and encourage inclusivity within our business and within our society.”

Nicky Bath, CEO of the National LGBTI Health Alliance is proud of the collaboration with Australia’s famed chocolate and confectionary brand. The limited-edition Darrell Lea Loves Allsorts ensures that there is help and support for those seeking the service of QLife.

“Together we are working hard to support the mental health and well-being of the many LGBTI people who reach out for support”, says Nicky.

The money from the Darrell Lea Loves Allsorts sales will support expert training so QLife and their volunteers can continue to grow, support and meet the evolving needs and concerns of the LGBTI community across Australia.

The limited-edition 270g Darrell Lea Loves Allsorts is available during February or until sold out from all leading supermarkets and convenience stores at $4.40 each (RRP).
