What’s sizzling Sydney? The Night Noodle Markets are back but in an even more delicious setting…

Each year as part of Good Food Month, Sydney foodies flock to the gardens of Hyde Park to eat their way through a delectable range of treats and drinks as part of one of the city’s most critically-acclaimed food festivals, Sydney’s Night Noodle Markets.

However, much like most things this year, the almost 20-year-old event will instead be returning this October with an all-new format. Presented by Citi and delivered by DoorDash, we’d like to introduce you to Night Noodle Markets at Home – allowing each Sydneysider the opportunity to indulge in a vibrant taste of Asia all in the comfort of their humble abode.

Starting Wednesday 07 October and running every night until Saturday 07 November; whether you hail from Annandale or Paddington, Dawes Point to Alexandria, Sydneysiders will be able to munch their way through eight sizzling stalls and their signature dishes, as well as Night Noodle Markets newest addition: delivered banquets.

Think honey prawn bao with sriracha mayo from Bao Brothers; the Filipino crème caramel slice-inspired Leche Flan Donut from Donut Papi; Puffle’s signature KFC Puffle stuffed with Korean fried chicken, sweet ‘n’ spicy sauce and kewpie mayo; Chicken Satay Skewers or a Seafood Spanish Paella from Span Thai; Teppanyaki Noodles Traditional Yakisoba served with pickled ginger and bonito flakes; Waffleland’s delectable range of loaded waffles; Wok Master’s Prawn & Scallop Spring Rolls or Steamed Chinese Buns; and, finally, for loaded Asian-inspired toasties, Toastie Smith’s Shrimp in the Egg that’s stuffed with roasted sesame slaw, grilled prawns, corn chips and sweet chilli sauce, all available exclusively through the DoorDash delivery app.

Venessa Cowell, Head of Nine Food Events said, “This year, whilst we can’t all be together for the event, we wanted to deliver the next best thing. Thanks to Citi, our long-standing presenting partner of Good Food Month, and our new partner DoorDash, this year you can experience Night Noodle Markets at Home. Celebrate with your favourite dishes, try something new and see what this years’ Night Noodle Markets cult dishes are going to be.

When your order arrives at your door you will find some additional inclusions from us that we hope will surprise and delight you, and help to bring the Night Noodle Markets to life around you as you feast with friends and family”.

Especially for Night Noodle Markets at Home, co-presenter partner Citi is offering Citi cardholders $20 off their order. And, if you’re a first-time DoorDash user, they’ll also be offering you free delivery, plus you’ll only have to pay $1 for delivery for every other order placed from the Night Noodle Markets at Home period.

To make the dining experience even more fun, lucky customers will be gifted with surprise goodies packed into a select number of orders including origami cranes, Maggi Fusian noodles, NESCAFÉ GOLD plant-based dairy-free latte sachets plus some sweet treats from Weis.

As well as that, throughout October the team behind Night Noodle Markets and Good Food Month will be giving away four Sydney staycay packs for two which includes two nights at the Ovolo 1888 Darling Harbour, a Citibank Dining Program voucher, a $200 DoorDash credit plus an additional DoorDash credit to gift to a family member or friend – all valued at $1300.
