We’re not the first to say it, but the best way to start your day is with breakfast. It’s a mealtime packed with a smorgasbord of delicious dishes. But, in this list, we’re not highlighting the standard. Instead, we’ve set out on a mission to find the best breakfast in Sydney.

Bills
If you’re trying to find the best pancakes in Sydney, Bills should be your go-to. With four locations, Bills promises to be sunny, easy going and generous. Their menu includes a mouthwatering selection of toasts with in-house made spreads, classic breakfast fare, share plates and, if you’re wanting a health kick, a selection of fruits, grains and cereals. Blackwood Bondi
Opening in March 2022, Blackwood Bondi is Sydney’s hottest dining hub for every day of the week. Owned by three mates – Daniel Sorridimi, Paul Pisani and michelin-star-trained Rob Lechowicz – Blackwood focuses on Mediterranean and Asian flavours with an overall French grounding. Open seven days a week for breakfast through to a casual dinner, Blackwood is our go-to. And, with breakfast cocktails and only a short walk away from Bondi Beach, your weekend is sorted here!

The Grounds of Alexandria
Hidden inside the bustling industrial streets of Alexandria is a precinct that is sure to transport you to a magical haven. Opening in early 2012, this urban sanctuary has since grown into every Sydneysiders go-to for one of the best breakfast in Sydney. Choose between The Grounds of Alexandria Cafe, The Potting Shed or The Garden for your mid breakfast to lunch fix. Otherwise, if you’d prefer to wander around, be sure to line up for their delicious doughnuts or the freshly squeezed lemonade.

Reuben Hills
Tucked on Albion Street in Surry Hills is a micro roastery that’s also titled as one of the best brunch spots in Sydney. Opening in early 2012, 12 years on Reuben Hills is renowned as Sydney’s go-to for a great cup of coffee. But, of course, any pick-me-up is best paired with a delicious dish. Their menu has taken inspiration from some of their coffee origin trips through Africa and South America, so visitors can expect the likes of Huevos Divorciados, breakfast burritos, paninis and more.

When we think of great food and flowering blossoms covering every inch of space, we think of Social Hideout. Located in Parramatta, Social Hideout is best described as an enchanting and breathtaking establishment. But, beyond the look and feel, Social Hideout also serves up a beautiful and equally aesthetic menu for you to dig into.
