Three Williams Café
For the third year in a row, Three Williams Café in Redfern will be running a stand-alone truffle menu of seven dishes, alongside their normal café menu. New items include a truffle and provolone sausage with truffle mash, crumbed lambs fry, fried egg, caramelised onion jus, fresh herbs and grated truffle; a truffle mac and cheese croissant with jamon, poached egg, Napoletana sauce, shaved parmesan, fresh truffle and lemon dressing; and truffle French toast with truffle ice cream, gold feuilletine, chocolate brownie, caramel cookie crumb, popping candy, truffle anglaise, fresh raspberries and fresh truffle. You may need to loosen your waist belt for the last one!
This bohemian paradise in Crows Nest is a fancy hideout for curious punters. Welcome to the Foxtrot Inn! On top of quirky cocktail concoctions and specially-curated beers and wine, this scandalous spot serves up some fancy bar bites, along with choose-your-own charcuterie and cheese boards (or mixed up together). As for truffles, well… how would your tastebuds feel about truffled arancini balls with truffle aioli or truffled chips, or even truffled salami to add to your fancy meat and cheese board? Matched with a few tipples and you’ve got yourself a fabulous date night!
Regular diners to Goodfields Eatery will surely remember their mouth-watering lobster benedict. But for the winter season, they will be revered for their truffle-infused menu. It will be a first-time offering for the cafe that opened in October last year. There are seven highly instagrammable dishes featured on the menu, twisting some of its classic dishes with generous lashings of truffle. Remember their popular lobster? Well, you can now order a pan-roasted lobster tail, abissine rigate no25 pasta, chilli cream sauce with fresh truffle. Check out their six other truffle-infused dishes on their website.
Another fine dining establishment at your service, dishing up specially made authentic Italian, with a few dishes traced with truffle. Buon Ricordo is an extremely safe bet for date night. Ask the waiter for the pork and veal sausages bound with parmesan and truffle egg, finished with lemon extra virgin olive oil, served among fagottini pasta. Or how about the fettuccine al tartufovo, which is cream and parmesan, topped with a fried truffle egg and tossed at the table? If you’re feeling for a proper ‘degustazione‘, go for the six-course $150 menu, which includes the fettucine al tartufovo, and spend $85 more for matching wines. As we said, an extremely safe bet for date night.

Bopp & Tone is fine dining without the pompousness, with stylish and sophisticated service within a chilled classy vibe. And to help with the truffle season, the CBD dining destination has created a moreish dish featuring Mt Majura black truffles to celebrate truffle season this June. Feast your eyes on the adjacent image to see their braised veal shin, white polenta, baby pea shoots and Mt Majura black truffles for $48. As well as this speciality dish, Bopp & Tone also serve up some wholesome Australian bites for yearning tastes.
Italians really know how to work their truffles. Next stop on our list is Otto Ristorante, sharing a few truffle-infused menu items, like truffled honey to truffled dwarf peaches―and that’s just for entrée. How about a Grainge Angus beef carpaccio with truffle dressing, aioli, capers, parmesan and rocket? Or perhaps some roasted cauliflower with preserved truffle cultured cream, hazelnuts and parsley as a side dish? Make lunch a healthy journey with wood roasted beetroot, pumpkin, cauliflower and truffle emulsion, and finish off with Holy Goat and truffle honey cheese. Not only do they have a masterful menu including signature steaks, they also shake it up in the bar with classic and signature cocktails to tickle your fancy. Match your truffle-infused dish with a Detoxifier, which is made of Ocho Blanco, kale, celery, lime & agave syrup.
With the truffle season warming up, Devon Café brings back the limited-edition truffle menu, with returning favourites: the ultimate toastie, the truffle egg sando, and the truffle sundae. This year, Devon head chef Zacharay Tan introduces a number of new dishes across North Sydney, Surry Hills and Garden City venues. Think, truffle hotcakes with whipped cream cheese, maple and fresh truffle; puffed salmon skin with aburi avocado, konbu and fresh truffle; or the tres leche lost bread with hazelnut chantilly, meringue, warm truffle custard and fresh truffle. The limited-edition menu runs from June until the end of August.
