Continue to expect the unexpected in 2020.

Ever thought you’d see Elvis in the flesh? Well, even that’s possible in 2020. Sort of.

Coinciding with the kick-off of the first-ever Virtual Elvis Week (8-16 August 2020), Graceland, Presley’s old home and now museum, will launch ten new state of the art and immersive experiences at the Elvis Presley’s Memphis Complex where you’ll be able to see and hear the augmented-reality rock’n’roll legend himself.

At the live event, dozens of interactive, shareable moments will allow guests to get closer to Elvis than ever before via virtual and augmented reality technology – seemingly perfect for those wanting to become the King (or Queen) of their social media feeds. Designed to inspire, entertain and inform guests, most of the experiences allow visitors to create customised photos and videos of themselves with Elvis to download free of charge.

If 2020 has had you feeling all shook up, then these newly added experiences will be sure to take your mind off the trouble around you (sorry, we can’t help ourselves). Expect the likes of an Eras of Elvis Game, “Elvis Yourself” Virtual Dress Up Experience, “Can’t’ Help Falling in Love” AR Serenade and Elvis: Front Row – to name a few.

And, for those of us joining online, the virtual schedule of events will allow fans from around the world (including die-hard Aussie fans) to participate in Elvis Week from the comfort of their homes. Content will include past Elvis Week concerts and panels, new interviews with bandmates, co-stars and friends, new behind-the-scenes Graceland content, a look back at previous Candlelight Vigils, Elvis tribute artists, and a live stream view of the 2020 Candlelight Vigil.
On-site at Graceland, the modified event schedule removes any potential high-risk activity, including live performances, live appearances, group parties or meals, autograph signings and meet & greets.

Thank you, thank you very much…
