Supporting local small businesses has never been more important and luckily for Perthlings, we know where all the best West Australian boutiques are for you to shop!
There is one thing Western Australia doesn’t fall short on, and that is beautiful fashion boutiques! From up north in Geraldton all the way down south in Margaret River, these boutiques are filled to the brim with some of our favourite brands. So, whether you feel like dressing up while working from home, or need an outfit for when the calm returns, here are all the best places you can shop:
Turquoise Lane is so much more than an online store and a beautiful boutique, with local owner Suzie, at the helm recently raising over $75,000 for bushfire relief. So, to support wonderful locals like Suzie, you can kickstart your local shopping campaign at Turquoise Lane. Better yet, it’s less than 15-minutes north of Perth’s CBD. Walking into the store is like stepping into a beachside oasis with its whitewashed timber floors, framed pictures of tropical paradises and large beautiful barn doors as entry into the change rooms. The boutique boasts its own namesake label inspired by the coast as well as all your favourite brands like Spell, Arnhem, Rowie and Saint Helena. A place that will become your go-to, Turquoise Lane also has amazing service where you always feel like a priority.
Perfectly situated in the heart of Margaret River, Isla Samsara, which translates to “island wanderer”, was born out of a love for travelling throughout Bali and coastal towns in Australia. Not only does Isla Samsara boast beautiful Australian owned fashion labels, but it is also centred around being as conscious, compassionate and sustainable as possible. Owner Jess is the leading lady behind Isla Samsara and she has created a community of women around her through her cooking videos, campaign try-ons and beach shots. We love to support a boutique that is a social and environmental advocate and that strives to bring quality pieces into our wardrobes – Isla Samsara does just that!
Remi Lane Designs
The owner of this brand is the definition of sunshine – she is a young West Australian who had a passion for creating and designing her own pieces when she was younger after learning how to sew with her grandma. Since then, Remi has become the owner and designer of Remi Lane Designs where she creates affordable pieces for women who love laid-back and comfortable neutral -coloured clothing, perfect for daywear, festivals and everything in between. Better still, each unique piece is ethically sourced and created, with sustainability a stronger driver for the designer.
Hobo and Hatch
This boutique is a bohemian lover’s dream! Found under a 40-minute drive south-west of Bunbury, Hobo and Hatch is filled to the brim with a combination of high-quality basics and floral dresses, uniquely detailed leather goods and soft blankets handwoven in Nepal. If that wasn’t enough, the boutique often has clothing from other well-known local and emerging brands for you to browse through. So, if you are after a new brown leather purse, a piece of fine jewellery, a warm blanket or a new item for your wardrobe, then consider looking through Hobo and Hatch!
Marine & Co
What is better than a gorgeous floral dress that you can throw over your bathers after a day at the beach? One that can also be dressed up with a pair of boots or mules for a night out! Marine & Co seems to always have a dress that is perfect for every occasion. Stocked with brands like Auguste the Label, Faithfull the Brand, Rue Stiic and Tigerlily, you’ll find it hard not taking all the pieces to the changeroom (or putting them in your online cart). Regardless, one visit to Marine & Co will have you going back for more thanks to their expansive selections of labels and exceptional service.

Ginger Morris, located on the bustling South Street in Fremantle hosts an eclectic mix of old and new homewares and fashion, brought to us by a mother and daughter duo. The store is great to look through after having breakfast at one of the nearby cafes, as it is always filled with quality staple items, especially linen, antique trinkets, pottery, rugs and accessories as well as the odd vintage typewriter. The ladies are always up for a chat, so if you are happy to talk and browse, then this is the boutique for you! Plus, if you like a little jazz and the scent of sensational candles, be sure to pop in.
