Truffles Unearthed
For the true truffle fans among us, look no further than the spectacular Truffles Unearthed event. Run every year by the folks at WA Good Food Guide, Truffles Unearthed is an annual celebration for the fungi that could, with an event program that brings together a handful of Perth restaurants for lunch and dinner menus. Ending on Sunday 13 August, Truffles Unearthed will take you to vegetarian feasts, Italian banquets, and all manner of truffle treats over this month-long celebration. One of the newest fine dining Italian restaurants in Perth, Testun has taken a unique twist on truffle season this year. Bringing together truffles and an Australian classic spread, visitors will find the likes of Mafaldine which blends Splendid Valley truffle and Vegemite – an unusual yet captivating dish that shows off the creativity that truffles allow. This truffle season, Intuition has partnered with Below and Above for a truffle tasting unlike anything available in Perth. Running from June to August and available on Tuesday through Saturday, this tasting menu is serving up a 6-course meal that celebrates the best of Australia’s local truffles, including a Stirling Range Eye Filet & Truffle, as well as their delicious Truffle & Pear Chocolate Entremet.
