From land to sea, it’s all in one for you Sydney!

Sushi and wine lovers alike rejoice! Woollahra-based favourite, The Wine Library, will be teaming up culinary forces with sushi master Toshi Oe to present Sydneysiders with the ultimate private foodie event this July, Bluefin & Burgundy.

Over two nights this July, Sydney foodies can partake in a gastronomic adventure thanks to the collaboration between two of Sydney’s most pristine venues and culinary masterminds.

Serving up a delectable eight-course omakase menu thanks to Toshi Oe (Toko, Masuya) and over 30 years experience, guests will be able to experience Toshi’s renowned Japanese-inspired expertise with seafood and his reputable delicate presentation.

The menu, curated especially for the Bluefin & Burgundy culinary experience, will bring to life Toshi’s partnership with supplier Narito Ishii and serve a range of omakase dishes such as Oyster Moro Miso, Baby Scallop Aomori and Eel Emaki and Wagyu Beef to name a few. Of course, to coincide with produce available this season, guests may also opt for additional courses including Caviar Bumps or Fresh Truffle Infused Brillat Savarin Cheese.

As well as that, event-goers will also have the option to personalise their Bluefin & Burgundy experience by choosing between a wine by the glass or bottle pairing from a shortlist of hand-selected Burgundies, thanks to The Wine Library’s award-winning sommelier and co-owner, Tim Perlstone. Highlights of paired Burgundy wines include Ghislaine Barthod, Laurent Roumier, Domaine Lignier, Prieure Roch, Geantet-Pansiot and Pierre Yves Colin Morey.

So, if you’re looking for the next best private sushi and wine foodie event in Sydney this July, this is it. Please note, the Bluefin & Burgundy event allows for only 20 guests per seating time. Bookings essential.
