From Japan to Korea through to Italy, Scotland and France – a global food festival is hitting the streets of Melbourne this March 2021… for free!

Already travelling through India, Sri Lanka, Africa, the Caribbean and the Middle East; this March 2021, Bunjil Place will be tantalising tastebuds across Melbourne, thanks to their newest pop-up, Global Flavour Feast.

A month-long celebration igniting our passion once again for all things worldly flavours, Global Flavour Feast is one event Melbournites won’t want to miss out on this month.

With live music, cultural performances and, of course a wide selection of flavoursome foods; Global Flavour Feast hopes to showcase a different global culture each Friday night to help us reignite our passion for the world around us.

So what can you expect?

Travelling through to Asia, coming up first this Friday 19 March, Kimu Korean and Japanese Eatery will be hosting a blended Japanese and Korean inspired extravaganza with authentic family-based recipes that are brought to life. For something more contemporary and Instagrammable, Nem N Nem will offer up simple yet equally delectable dishes to munch on.

Throughout the evening Bunjil Place will also have a range of performances by Kita Performing Arts on show. Accompanied by Stilt Divas – a showcase of China dolls on stilts – there’ll also be a lion dance travelling through eateries thanks to Jow Ga Kuen.

Then, to finish the Global Flavour Feast, visitors to Bunjil Place on Friday 26 March will be transported into the heart of Europe to end the month-long festival. Designed to display a variety of European flavours, Melbourne foodies can expect traditional (and mouthwatering) Italian pizza from Wildfire Pizzeria, artisan handcrafted crêpes by Crêpes for Change who will be donating all profits towards eliminating youth homelessness; and authentic eats from Kilted Haggis, a small Melbourne-based Scottish family business from Glasgow.

For something to get your feet tapping, Indie Duo will be sliding through with some slick rhythmic guitar work and French Cabaret Entertainment Melbourne will be partnering with SENES Flamenco to give audiences a taste of French and Spanish culture.

Free to attend, Global Flavour Feast will be taking over the extraordinary outdoor space at Bunjil Place to make way for a flavoursome, foodie feast like no other. Be sure not to miss it, bookings essential.
