Regardless of the type of runner you are or inspire to be, Under Armour’s newest shoe suite will have the perfect fit for your feet – an extra step to seamless workouts.
The newest additions to the trusted Under Armour HOVR line-up include six different running sneakers perfect for every runner out there. Whether you need a springed shoe for flat speed racing, cushion and bounce for long-distance or a shoe with a sock-like fit and light-weight feel for fast workouts and shorter races; regardless of your style, the new HOVR shoe suite will surely put a bounce into your fitness shoe goals.
Apart from the six distinct shoes to suit your running style and technique, Under Armour is taking a step into the future by enabling owners to connect their foot apparel directly to the MapMyRun app. Seamlessly connected via Bluetooth, users will be able to unlock their performance data and receive personalised coaching through the program.
As well as tracking distance, the Under Armour HOVR and MapMyRun collaboration also stores extensive data on the runner’s pace, splits, cadence, stride length and more. On top of that, the connected footwear also provides real-time Form Coaching to helping the athlete unlock their ideal form.
With an impressive community of over 270 million users, MapMyRun users can have more data and tools to score a better tracking performance than ever before.
Initially the HOVR shoe range by Under Armour was put on shelves in 2018. The groundbreaking feedback from these original sneakers set a milestone in performance running shoes. Enabling a consistent energy return within every movement; since then Under Armour strives to design a light and effortless shoe ideal for the world’s running community.
Now, two years forward and with a futuristic facelift, the HOVR Run suite provides just that – enabling owners to do more than just run.

Launching in June 2020, the UA HOVR Velociti is a lightweight and durable tempo shoe for fast workouts and shorter races. A sleek new upper gives the shoe a swift look.
Hunter and Bligh’s verdict:
