Calling all Australian coffee lovers!

With the launch of Nescafé’s Farmers Origins, Australian coffee drinkers can now discover the tastes of the world’s best coffee-growing regions from the comfort of your own home.

Nescafé Farmers Origins is the new premium coffee capsule range designed for Nespresso systems. And Australia is one of the first countries in the world to get to try it. Lucky us!

The new range includes five delicious single-origin coffee blends; each made with high-quality arabica and robusta beans.

From a Ristretto blend sourced from the birthplace of coffee – Ethiopia and Uganda – to an Espresso produced in the Southern Highlands of India; each new coffee blend offers a distinct flavour profile and unique origin story.

Your coffee will taste even better because Nescafé’s Farmers Origins beans have been sustainably sourced from farming communities in some of the world’s finest coffee-growing countries.

Nescafé’s ongoing commitment to sustainable coffee production aims to improve farmers incomes and the lives of those living in farming communities. On the back of each capsule pack, you can even scan a QR code that tells you the story behind the coffee you are consuming.

Ensuring sustainability and quality from bean to cup, each of the five new blends are encapsulated in a hermetically sealed Nespresso aluminium pod, a recyclable material that not only maintains coffee freshness but also leaves a minimal impact on our planet. Capsules can be recycled via Nespresso boutiques and florist collection points nationwide.

And, according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, Waste Account Australia Experimental Estimates 2013 study, in 2010, each household in Australia produced an estimate of almost 1.5 tonnes of waste a year. With a nation of approximately 8.4 million households, this amount comes to a staggering figure of 12.4 million tonnes. So, naturally, ensuring that an environmentally-friendly option was available was at the forefront for Nescafé.

So, let’s have a taste, shall we?
