What’s On: Adelaide in December
The festive season is upon us! And to celebrate, we’ve handpicked free & ticketed events to make this December the merriest one yet.
Louis Theroux: Love Without Limits
Documentary lovers rejoice! Louis is back with another film, this time focusing on polyamory and ethical non-monogamy – the practice of openly and transparently having multiple relationships that go further than just sex. Louie follows families who live this way, showing the implications this way of life has on the children of these families, as well as the couples themselves. Exploring taboo topics is what Theroux does best, and Love Without Limits should be no exception.
Taking place in some of the country’s most picturesque locations, Summersalt is bringing the cream of the crop of Australian music to the iconic Glenelg Beach. Catch the Adelaide show, featuring acts including Angus & Julia Stone, Mec Mac, Didirri and Seaside. Summersalt also brings cultural attractions, placing emphasis on the local community and sustainability.
Twilight Christmas Market

This free event features free kids’ entertainment, food trucks and stalls – plus you can pick up a real Christmas tree!
Flanagan is a traditional stand-up comedienne in many ways: a highly relatable story-teller and truth-teller. Returning for a fast-selling encore show, Flanagan covers everything from lovesongs, sex, algorithms, chimps, clowns and psychics. Be sure to leave the kids at home unless you fancy them getting a real Flanagan style education!
