Calling all beer enthusiasts over in the west!
Australia’s oldest beer week, WA Beer Week, is back for its 17th year. From Friday 16 to Sunday 25 November, Western Australia will be transforming to celebrate one of the oldest and most widely consumed alcoholic beverages – beer.
Over the 10 days, circling around Perth and venturing down south to Eagle Bay, guests of WA Beer Week will be able to froth over a range of events including golf tournaments, a handful of collaborations, degustations and even a beer infused cheese making party.

WA Beer Week Opening Party
To kick off WA Beer Week festivities, Blasta Brewing Co will be commencing the week with an opening party like no other for the WA Brewing Industry. Blasta Brewing Co in Burswood will be opening their Microbrewery and Beer Hall for guests to enjoy a four-hour beer tab alongside some of the experts part of the divine beer industry. This is one not to miss!
Mash goes Ballistic @ Supa Golf
It’s par-tee time with Mash Brewing! For one night only, Mash will be collaborating with Ballistic Brew to host their legendary Mash goes Ballistic Ambrose Supa Golf tournament. Whilst completing the nine holes, guests will be able to enjoy their brand new Brut IPA – each hole will be accompanied by a different brew and a hearty meal to finish the night. Get tapping!
Against the Grain III
White Lakes Brewing will be hosting a dinner party that serves the best of both worlds: exceptional food and award-winning brews. During the night, guests will be dined in an intimate setting for a seven-course degustation – a ‘beer-gustation.’ Hosted by White Lake Brewing’s Head Brewer Sean Symons and Chef Ben Knights, guests will be taken on a hopping experience like no other.
Two Birds take the Rocky Ridge
Two Birds Brewing (Victoria) operated by Jayne Lewis and Danielle Allen will be chirping up a special collaboration with independent brewery from Western Australia, Rocky Ridge Brewing Co. Over the night at Caboose in Mount Lawley, guests will be able to enjoy various brews from both breweries including a limited release made especially for WA Beer Week.
James Meet Jameson
Beer and whisky lovers can finally unite! For one night only at The Generous Squire, Jameson and James Squire will be hosting an interactive masterclass featuring exclusive limited release brews from the microbrewery, paired with mouth-watering food and the Jameson Caskmate selection aged in craft beer barrels. Expect a night of exclusive beers and meals featuring Jameson Caskmates IPA edition.
BBQs, Beats and Beers
Long Chim located in Perth’s State Buildings will be celebrating WA Beer Week with a night filled with BBQ, Beats and Beers. Serving up brews from Nail Brewing, La Sirene, Eagle Bay Brewing, Indian Ocean, Nowhereman Brewing Co and Fixation Brewing – all paired with barbequed Bangkok inspired Thai snacks. This is definitely a one night in Bangkok experience.
Beer-Washed Camembert Cheese Making Party
If you froth over a fresh beer and a creamy camembert cheese, then the Beer-Washed Camembert Cheese Making Party will be the perfect way to spend your Friday. Hosted by Yallingup Cheese and Eagle Bay Brewing Co, guests will be able to sink into a cheese making demonstration of a hand made, beer-washed camembert. Of course there’ll be cheese and beer tastings. Don’t brie silly, bookings are essential.
Creatures 18th Birthday Weekend
Coinciding with WA Beer Week, Little Creatures Brewing in Fremantle will be celebrating their 18th birthday with a weekend long celebration. The former crocodile farm will be hosting a range of events including a Creatures Millennium Party, a Creatures Carnival Birthday edition and a Birthday Back a Yard Sunday Session – all paired with freshly brewed Little Creatures beer of course!
The Brewers Brunch
What better way to start your Saturday than with brunch. In true WA Beer Week style, guests will instead be served three of the finest beers paired with a delectable breakfast/lunch – unfortunately this is a mimosa free event. Hosted at Strange Company in Fremantle, guests will be exploring the most important meal of the day accompanied by some of the best brewers around.
3 Ravens: Hops n’ Sours
For one night only, Petition Beer Corner in Perth’s State Buildings will be transforming into a beer and food extravaganza. Hosted by 3 Ravens Head Brewer Brendan O’Sullivan, guests will be able to enjoy eight beers paired by six unique courses prepared by Petition Head Chef Sean Bentley. Expect brews from 3 Ravens Caw range, classic drops and even specialty brews. Bookings essential.
