In Surfers Paradise, it seems obvious that you should surf, but we had to include it. Surfing is, of course, not the only water sport one can do whilst there. Swimming, jet skiing, boogie boarding, or simply wading, enjoy the water and the beautiful weather in one of the most visually stunning beaches in Queensland.

HOTA, or Home of the Arts, is the Gold Coast’s home for all things creative. HOTA has a cinema which previews mainstream films, hosts music and stage shows, runs art classes as well as much more. With Surfers Paradise as its backdrop, HOTA is not only the place to experience the arts, but also to view a creative hub in action. It is a spectacular building, so even if you don’t plan on catching a film, music or theatre performance, check out the building.
