Best Tequila Bars around Australia

Whether you like to lick, sip and suck or just have it straight up, tequila is always guaranteed to be a devilish fun time.

Sourced from the blue agave plant (not a cactus), tequila can take from up to seven years until it ends up in a bottle. And much like champagne, there’s even a city named ‘Tequila’ in Mexico where majority of tequila is grown and then distilled.

Ironically, if you drink pure, 100% blue agave tequila, it will not give you a hangover.

In celebration of World Tequila Day, we’ve poured together a list of the best tequila bars that you and your amigos need to visit around Australia. Get sipping!
