Melbourne, get ready to praise the season thanks to Federation Square’s newest opening to hit the streets this January through to April, Summertime Social. Over the three months, Summertime Social will be transforming Melbourne into the biggest adult summer playground. With delectable food, drinks and fun games available, Melbournians can enter for free and try their luck at one of the many game lanes available. Think super-sized bowling, bocce, shuffleboard and even skittles. Plus, guests are welcome to book out their own private hut and caravan packages which include a range of Summer Social’s best eats. But it doesn’t stop there. The Law will be hosting a Sunday Sessions which includes entertainment and fun prizes to be won. Don’t miss this one.
Scarborough Beachside Brunch
Perthlings, your two favourite things, beaches and brunch are now combined thanks to the newest offering from Scarborough Beach Bar. Hosted each month, Perth foodies are invited to the waterside venue two enjoy two hours of brunch with the best views and the best drinks in town. Firstly, your sitting will start with an array of coffee, tea and fresh juices. From here you’ll be served the signature breakfast punchbowl which pairs perfectly with your entrée, a seasonal granola cup. Then, to finish on a high note, guests will be able to choose from smashed avocado on toast, pancakes, bacon and egg burgers plus more to enjoy with your unlimited prosecco and mimosas. The Love of Gin: Tales Old and New
Lovers of gin, fresh haircuts and art will be pleased to know that the three worlds are going to be kindly combined thanks to a new offering at Sydney’s The Barbershop. The Love of Gin: Tales Old and New is presented by British artist Alan Walsh in a collaboration with one of the world’s most renowned gins, Bombay Sapphire. Up until Wednesday 15 January, Sydneysiders are invited to the York Street venue to enjoy Alan’s newest exhibition showcasing 16 exclusive pieces inspired and commissioned by Bombay Sapphire.
Eden Brewery Beer Dinner
Just under two hours south of Sydney’s CBD, foodies and beer lovers alike will be united at Moss Vale’s renowned Birch Restaurant. For one night only, Birch’s courtyard will be transformed in a beer extravaganza thanks to locally found Eden Brewery. Showcased by head brewer, Jacob Newman, visitors will be able to enjoy a shared, seasonally sourced, three-course dinner created especially by the Birch team. Of course, each meal will be accompanied by a paired beer from Eden as well as live music throughout the event. Foodies, this is one not to miss. Bookings essential.
Found inside the Crown Melbourne, every Sunday throughout December and January, Bistro Guillaume will be hosting an impressive Champagne Sundays event for Melbournians to enjoy. The two-hour sitting will allow guests to feast on a two-course lunch designed by chef Guillaume Brahami. All paired with bottomless Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial Champagne NV, Champagne Sundays will see freshly shucked oysters, two baked souffle, Parisian gnocchi as well as Lakes Entrance John Dory with mussels.
SOFI Spritz Pop-Up
Ciao! Forget the near 25-hour flight, this summer SOFI Spritz will be travelling from Italy on an escape to Sydney’s very own Bondi Beach. That’s right, every Saturday and Sunday throughout January, Bondi’s Beach Road Hotel will be hosting a limited-edition Summer Series thanks to Australia’s favourite aperitivo, SOFI Spritz. Here Sydneysiders will be able to enjoy the SOFI pop-up bar in the hotel’s garden terrace. Transformed into a leafy outdoor Italian oasis, guests can enjoy a range of exotic SOFI Spritz cocktails by the glass or carafe. See you there!

Available throughout the entire month of January, Sydneysiders can choose from six delicious and refreshing froze flavours that then be garnished with your wildest sweet dreams thanks to Untied’s bottomless garnish wall. Plus, for the frozé fiends out there, every Thursday to Sunday Untied hosts a two-hour, bottomless self-serve access to the six flavours and garnish wall for only $39 per person.
PB’s Spiked Summer Series
Melbourne, we’ve heard that you love pizza just as much as you love your tipples. Well now, the two are finally combined to create the most delicious, mouthwatering creations: PB’s Bar and Eatery’s Spiked Summer Series. To fulfil your wildest dreams, PB’s has created three spiked pizzas featuring three of Australia’s most favourites concoctions including a Plastered Prawns pizza thanks to Four Pillars Rare Dry Gin & Tonic, Boozy Beef Ribs with Brick Lane Brewing Co Red Hoppy Ale and a Drunken Chicken tippled with Preece Wines Pinot Grigio.
