Visitors are able to choose from a variety of trials according to their level of fitness, and the time they wish to spend walking. The Falls Trail is one of the more popular trails, offering stunning views of the falls, and can be comfortably completed in 45 minutes. Gnomesville is a definite must-see for those travelling to the southern regions of Western Australia. Located 200-kilometres south of Perth, Gnomesville is a peculiar yet adorable place that is definitely worth a picture… or 10. With an estimated 5000 gnomes residing at Gnomesville, it is an ideal stop if you’re travelling with restless children – or just want to see something a little bizarre. Visiting Gnomeville is free of charge, but visitors are asked to refrain from touching the gnomes. Talk about a completely unique thing to do in Perth!

Old Mill

Built in 1835, the Old Mill is one of Perth’s best known landmarks. Since ceasing production in 1859, this historic monument has boasted a host of uses including a wine saloon, poultry farm and even a hotel. You can join a guided tour of the Old Mill which run from Tuesday to Friday, with group sizes limited dependent on restrictions. Although all tours are free, donations are appreciated as groups are led by volunteer guides. Bookings are recommended and can be made on their website to ensure you don’t miss out on a spot.
