St Patrick’s Day Celebrations in South Wharf
Thrown on some green and head on down to South Wharf to celebrate St Patrick’s Day.
Not only is St Patrick’s Day Ireland’s oldest cultural and religious celebration, it’s a whole lot of a fun as well. This Friday 17 March, Melbourne’s South Wharf will be transport you to Ireland to celebrate the special occasion. There will be live music, delicious food and of course, pints of Guinness. Celebrations will run from from the morning up until late evening, so be sure to immerse yourself in the experience and embrace the Irish charm.
Common Man Clover Beer Garden
From midday, check out the fantastically green Common Man Clover Beer Garden. At this free pop-up attraction, you’ll be able to taste classic Irish drinks including Guinness, Kilkenny and Jameson all on the Common Lawn that will be decked out with green balloons and more. Enjoy succulent BBQ Guinness lamb ribs from the smoker, as well as other speciality foods from 4pm. And don’t forget to bring your dancing shoes, live music will be playing from 4pm-9pm.
Meat Market Whiskey Dinner
After an afternoon of celebrations, why not be greeted by a cocktail and indulge in a delicious four-course, open-flame grill inspired dinner. Also hosted by Hart, every meal featured on menu will be matched with a whiskey, including two speciality varieties from the new Jameson series. The dinner starts at 7pm and is the perfect way to round up the end of another spectacular St Patrick’s Day. At $79 a head, be sure to book in advance to avoid disappointment.
