We’ve reached the end of the season, but there’s everything still to play for…

Round 20, the final round of the regular season. And, while the Panthers may have been crowned minor premiers in the NRL, the spot is still up for grabs amongst our tipsters.

The final week of the competition is always the most difficult to pick as the better teams rest up some of their players for finals – so there’s some contentious fixtures among our expert panel this week. The Traitor and The Mantis are still tied after 19 rounds of play, and each will be desperate to enter finals at the top of the game.

Ultimately, one tipster on the panel will reign supreme… who do you think it will be?

The Mantis

The Mantis

“Just like a mantis, I’m cool… calculated… precise… and deadly. Each of my tips is the result of hours of waiting, thinking and plotting. I leave nothing to chance. There’s a reason I won last year’s competition, and it’s the reason I’m going to win this one too. NRL is more than just a sport – there are numbers to consider, weather, injuries, countless variables. I’ve thought of it all. Good luck getting past The Mantis.”

The Traitor

The Traitor

They call me The Traitor because I’m unaffected by the supporter’s bias that might sway others’ tips. I was born in New South Wales but root for Queensland and the Storm… winning to me is everything – the only thing – and the same goes for my tips. I’m ruthless in my pursuit of the top spot and I’m ready to show these boys that the NRL is now a woman’s world.”

The Hunter

The Hunter

“I’m the king of Hunter and Bligh’s sports world. I’m The Hunter. I’ve been writing tips and expert analysis for as long as the other two combined. There’s no way they’ll even come close to touching me. I’m the only true expert on this panel – and I’m happy to let my tips speak for me. My reputation precedes me. My historic success is all I need to know that I’m the best. We’ll see who’s laughing at the end of the season.”
