The sequel to the legendary 1982 sci-fi film features an aesthetic similar to the Ridley Scott original.

Ever since the sequel to Blade Runner was announced last year, fans have be questioning why the classic film needed a revisit. Now, just over thirty years since the original, we get our first look at Blade Runner 2049, where Harrison Ford returns to play an older Rick Deckard. The sequel also features Ryan Gosling, playing a new blade runner who has discovered a secret that could cause a whole lot of trouble, and whose job it is to track down Deckard who’s been missing for 30 years. Blade Runner 2049 is directed by Denis Villeneuve whose recent film Arrival was hauntingly mesmerising, along with the original director, Ridley Scott who is on board as executive producer.

The film is set release internationally October 6, 2017.
